I have quite a bit of storage in my house.We built this house 4 years ago, and I made sure to add as many nooks, cubbies, and drawers as possible. However, my design space is seriously lacking.
When I moved here, I was in a jewelry-making funk. Creating jewelry had started off as something fun to do on the side, and quickly became something that occupied much of my time – I stopped loving it, and would go for months without making a thing. My tools, stones, beads, and findings got shoved in a bag and found a home under the sink in the laundry room.
I’ve fallen in love with the craft again, but since I’ve occupied all available storage space, my jewelry bag still lives in its tiny spot. Let me tell you, it’s a big, fat pain to haul it all out and dig through it every time I’m in the mood to design.
So I’ve been dreaming…
I’m dreaming of a space where everything is at the ready, and easy to see.
I’m dreaming of little containers that are as pretty as they are functional.
I’m dreaming of a little spot that I can call my own.

It’s time to turn those dreams into reality. Time to stop pondering and get to planning. By the end of the summer, my goal is to get it all done – I’ll be sure to share the pics with you as soon as my spot is ready to go!

I love all of these photos of beautiful organization! I love an organized space. We currently live in a really small house, and I don’t have my own crafting space, but I dream of one day having a really great space to create in!

I love this post! If you could only see my kitchen table right now! lol… the ONLY thing I’m remotely looking forward to my middle daughter flying the nest soon is the fact that I’ve got serious plans for her bedroom.

It would be so helpful Im sure. And I have a “craft room” but I’m usually in such a rush to finish what Im doing that I just end up leaving the supplies out and they stay there. I can’t wait to see what you decide to do!
