What I Wore

One of these days I’m going to stop talking about the Pop Up Shop. It encompassed such a huge part of my time for so many months that I feels like it deserves a ton of posts. But I promise I will stop. Likely, it’ll be just in time to start talking about the next one.;)

But seriously, how could I go without sharing what I wore to my big event?!Two days before my boutique event, there was another one at the clubhouse in my neighborhood. I purchased this top from one of the shops there, called Wish – one of those companies that does house parties. I have nothing else like it in style or color in my closet, so it was calling my name.

I loved the ruffles and the braid detail on it!

You know I was going to go with heels for my party – I love my Len Druskin booties!

The collar on this top is so much fun to play with – you could make it wider or more narrow, depending on the look you’re going for.

I sold out of these Wild Ruffle earrings in the first couple hours of the event. I’m busy making more for Rachel’s Holiday Boutique this coming weekend. And if you’re lucky, I just might put some up in my shop (coming in a couple days!).

I was so thrilled with the results of the Pop Up Shop. The next one promises to be just as fun… but completely different. I’ll leave you with that cliff hanger for now!

Have you done your holiday shopping yet?

Don’t forget to check out all the fun over at the Pleated Poppy! Next week, I want to share with you all the reasons why I link up with her each week.

  • Inspired by my time at the beach, I’m Wild About all things summery today! How fun is this maxi printed dress from GAP? And these bags, from The Vintage Gypsy, are perfect for summer days spent strolling the farmer’s market. And these shoes are just the right amount of fun and practical – hey! • I’ve said time and time again that my favorite DIYs are the easiest (see my previous DIYs crafty style and beauty here). And today, I’m sharing one of the easiest of all. Tired of my plain denim shorts, I decided to switch it up a bit and polka dot the heck outta ‘em. 1) Step… [Continue Reading]

  • Just because you want to be comfortable, doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice style. In stretch cotton head to toe, I still felt put together in my casual maxi and layered tanks. I’ll be wearing some version of this all this week as we vacation in Florida. Minus the 5.5 inch heels, perhaps.;) What’s your… [Continue Reading]

    Casual Day
  • I’m 4 days into our Florida family vacation, and I am loving this time with my family. Disney was a wee bit crazy, with 90 degree temps and blazing sun both days. But hey – it could be snowing! I’ll take it. Now we’re just relaxing on the beach, and eating as much ice cream… [Continue Reading]

  • Sometimes it’s the little details that make the outfit. The flutter sleeve. The ombre earring. A super tall pair of shoes. And my little four year old daughter capturing it all on film. Remember when I shared this? Hard to believe a full school year has already passed! top – via swap, earrings – H&M,… [Continue Reading]
