Gypsy Girl

If you have read this blog for any amount of time, then you know that I’ve fallen in love with the local shop The Vintage Gypsy. Most of my new items come from there, and my husband has even asked me who this gypsy girl is that’s taking all our money.

All kidding aside, there’s a reason why I love it so. Marie, the owner, combines a great eye for vintage decor with a talent for buying clothes and accessories that are totally fresh and modern with a vintage twist.

If you’re a local Minnesotan, now’s your chance to discover why I’ve been doing so much shopping there, when The Vintage Gypsy participates in the upcoming Wild Ruffle Spring Boutique, on Thurs May 2nd from 5-9 pm. They’ll be hosting tables for Crystal Confetti/a little punchy, Picture Perfect Hair, Edan Works, Stonyhill, Northernly, Twigs/The Simple Park, Kelly’s Confectionary Creations, and Origami Owl too – there’s some amazing talent listed there!

Even if you’re not here in Minnesota, be sure to check out Marie’s Facebook page – she’s always doing flash sales and showcasing her latest items there – and she ships just about everywhere!

  • Just because you want to be comfortable, doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice style. In stretch cotton head to toe, I still felt put together in my casual maxi and layered tanks. I’ll be wearing some version of this all this week as we vacation in Florida. Minus the 5.5 inch heels, perhaps.;) What’s your… [Continue Reading]

    Casual Day
  • I’m 4 days into our Florida family vacation, and I am loving this time with my family. Disney was a wee bit crazy, with 90 degree temps and blazing sun both days. But hey – it could be snowing! I’ll take it. Now we’re just relaxing on the beach, and eating as much ice cream… [Continue Reading]

  • Sometimes it’s the little details that make the outfit. The flutter sleeve. The ombre earring. A super tall pair of shoes. And my little four year old daughter capturing it all on film. Remember when I shared this? Hard to believe a full school year has already passed! top – via swap, earrings – H&M,… [Continue Reading]
