When I first began this blog, hosting a Pop Up Shop was nowhere on my mind’s horizon.
But Wild Ruffle has become an ever evolving thing, and I’m just going with it. My first one day boutique was last fall – and I loved every moment of the planning and the actual day itself. I had absolutely no intention of having it become a twice yearly schtick, and yet I found myself opening up the application process to another round of vendors a few months ago as I prepared to host a spring version of this event.
And oh, how my heart pitter-pattered whenever I saw a vendor applying for a second go-around with me. Could it be that they had as much fun as I did?!
There are several women joining me once again, and one of the first to re-apply was Lori Sabin of Girly Muse - a lifestyle blog with a side of jewelry, nonsense, good food, family fun and music. Once again, Lori will display her whimsical jewelry pieces that are a funky blend of old and new. Her daughter, Greyley of Curly Grey, will bring her crazy great headbands (I bought two of them last year for my niece – they were so fantastic!).
If you didn’t meet Lori the last time around, you can’t miss this opportunity to shop from her table. She’ll be inside Flowers Naturally right on Main Street (along with Elphia Designs and Necksessories by Sue). In addition to her blog, you can also take a sneak peek at her work on her Facebook page.
Lori is generously offering a special deal on necklaces for the night of the event! Buy one necklace, and your second is $5 off. Sounds perfect for a Mother’s Day gift… and a gift to yourself! Wink, wink.
Do you have May 3rd blocked off on your calendar yet?

Yes, it WAS so fun we had to come back again!
You put together a great event and we can’t wait for the next one. Thanks for the post, Cate! Looking forward to seeing you next month. xo
Love the blog! Wish I could be there to shop….sounds so cool! And love that Lori and Greyley will be selling their fabulous jewelry and headbands again! I must make it to one…..or convince y’all to come to Dallas….roadshow…..;)
My muse….a strong connection with my sense of playfulness. It puts me in a space for exploring and cultivating curiosity. When I trust in it, I always walk away pleased.
I love that! Thanks for sharing.:)
