My house reeks.
We are finally in the home stretch of having the lower level completed – only a few weeks left to go. Right now they’re working on staining the wood, and goodness me but there is a lot of wood down there to stain.
Thankfully we’re doing this in April, when I can open a few windows and let the house breathe, and not in the chill of December (when the weather is more like this).
Whenever I think of the word ‘stinky’ my mind goes to the movie Green Mile. They’re all on death row, and the crazy guy in the corner cell starts singing, “Barbeque, me and you, stinky pinky, pew, pew, pew.” Yeah, a little morose. But it happens every time.
