Fun Finds on Friday

Today’s fun finds are totally random, but as always – they’re fun!

For years I straightened my hair with this giant, old school flat iron. It was super wide and clunky, but I refused to invest in a new one because I paid quite a pretty penny for it back when flat irons were newer to the market. My husband gave me a new one awhile back, and I’m so glad he did – I now use it to curl my hair just about every day, and I couldn’t have done it with the old version. If you’re in the market for a new one yourself, I’ve heard that the GHD Peacock Limited Edition is the best straightener around. Plus, they come in pretty colors – one more reason to look forward to getting ready in the morning.

I just discovered a fun site called Giving Vines. With all of your wine purchases made through them, they give a portion of the sale to charity. The best part? You get to pick the charity! Gotta love that! I love doing good when I’m going to purchase something anyway.

Madewell is having a special deal right (love, love me some Madewell!). Using code WHYNOT, you can take an extra 25% off of their already reduced items. That means I can get the pretty shirtdress pictured below for a mere fraction of the original price.

But what’s the most fun of all for me right now? The last stretch of planning for the upcoming Spring Boutique. If you haven’t heard about it yet, I’m guessing you’re new to this site. Free drinks and apps, vendors gathered together for one fabulous night of shopping, and the shops of downtown Prior Lake hosting – yeah, it’s good stuff.

Happy Friday, everyone!
