I am always on the hunt for that most elusive of items – an inexpensive pair of shoes that doesn’t look cheap.
There’s a reason why most of the affordable ones are priced so low. The stitching looks bad, or the material is stiff and hard to wear (especially for a wide footed lady like myself).
Aah, but these – finding these beauties was like hitting the jackpot.
While perusing the Target clearance racks in search of deals on shoes for the kiddos, I stumbled by happy accident upon these orange gems, nestled in among the toddler sandals. It was as if they were waiting there just for me.
And when I checked the price tag (a mere $14.98 plus an additional 5% off for shopping with my red card, of course!), I swear those fluorescent lights shined a little brighter, and somewhere in the distance a Hallelujah chorus began to play (though that could’ve been me singing, I was so full of glee).
My new shoes even passed the Jane Lantz quality test – and that, my friends, is an incredible feat in and of itself.

Where do you find good deals on great shoes?

Those sandals are so cute! And only $14.98??? Lucky duck. I might have to go searching my Target today!
Those are so cute! I just found two cute pairs of sandals at Target last week and had a buy one, get one 50% coupon, so I had to bring them both home with me! I think Target has nice affordable shoes.
I love those sandals! We don’t have Target here…yet. Apparently, it’s coming. But I definitely stock up in the U.S. in general on shoes :: deals are ridiculously better than here….especially with the extra “x” percent off sales that often run.

Those shoes are cute. I usually buy my shoes from 6pm.com, since they have some really good sales.
I’ve never bought anything from them before – I’ll definitely have to check itout!
