Snapshots of a Sunday

We had a lazy kind of Sunday, winding down from two days worth of celebrating my husband’s 35th birthday. Here are some highlights.

A big flower tucked into my messy bun hides the fact that I made no effort with my hair, right?

My oldest daughter and I spent about an hour playing tennis. Keep in mind, I use the term ‘playing’ loosely. She’s a beginner, but we’re having fun!

It’s not quite knee high by this 4th of July, but I’m still a little in awe of the fact that there is corn growing in my back yard. I’m showing that brown thumb who’s boss.

I can’t decide if my mani is patriotic or ladybuggish. Will probably be re-doing this one soon.

Three children went directly into the tub after creating these masterpieces.
