Oops, You’re Not My Wife

I headed out to Target the other day (cuz we practically live there), and while perusing the sale racks this guy comes up to me and says, “Honey, what do you think about these shorts?” It wasn’t until he noticed that I had three small children with me that it registered with him that I was not his honey. “Oops,” he said, looking at my kids in confusion. “You’re not my wife.”

His wife popped out from behind another rack and said, “Look at her shoes – you should’ve known by those that she wasn’t me!”

Nope, it shouldn’t have been the fact that I looked NOTHING like his wife that tipped him off. It was definitely the five inch heels.

  • I love to use mason jars in all kinds of ways. We drink out of them. I use them as vases. They’re an easy vessel for candles. And what’s cuter than a little token of friendship, planted in a mason jar and tied up with a burlap strip? Not much, I tell ya. In honor… [Continue Reading]
