Flowered

The summer months are making it hard to get any pictures for outfit posts. I spend most of my time at the pool with the kids, so any time I’m actually clothed, I feel it necessary to snap a few shots to prove to myself I wore something other than a swimsuit.

And if I’m going to change out of my suit, I might as well make it worth my while. I think anything with a sassy zipper up the back should make the cut.

  11. The Vintage Gypsy never lets me down! I love that boutique…and that dress!

  12. Love the dress with that yellow cuff. They complement one another perfectly.

How do you feel about the exposed zipper? Sometimes, I really love it on a dress/article of clothing, and sometimes I hate it since I feel like it might not be as trendy in a few seasons. What do you think?

    • It’s not something I’ll buy a ton of, because you’re right – I don’t think it’ll be in a couple of years from now. But at only $42, I’ll wear the heck out of it while it is still in style and move on to the next trend. I try not to spend too much on anything that’s not classic.

  13. Love the dress and the cuff really stands out!!!

  14. Such a fun background for a flower dress :) I’m so jealous of the fact that you get to be in your suit all the time – I haven’t even worn one yet :(

  15. I LOVE this dress! I love the floral and slightly poofy sleeves… gorgeous!

  16. What a gorgeous dress. The zipper detailing adds so much edge!
