Oh, how I love, love fall.

If you haven’t experienced Minnesota in the fall, you really must. The turning leaves are quite the masterpiece of God’s work. I can spend time outside without melting. And there’s nothing like apple crisp baked with apples you picked that afternoon from the local orchard.

I know we’re not quite there yet, but the last few days have whispered of it.

And a pair of shorts with a long sleeved button down might just be my everyday uniform this particular fall.

    Cate, I love this outfit! I think I need to shop for some cute button downs to pair with shorts, I adore the colors, especially the green accents! I have mixed feelings about fall, while I do enjoy it, it makes me miss living in the North East (where I grew up)… coastal North Carolina has nothing on the Hudson Valley and it’s gorgeous fall colors.

    I’m loving the cooler weather too, and you’re right, fall in Minnesota (And Wisconsin!) is so amazing. I’ve already been dreaming about pumpkin patches and apple orchards and wineries. And pumpkin spice lattes :)

    It sounds as though weather here in Toronto and weather in Minnesota is so similar. We’ve been having a few “fall is just around the corner” type days as well…and I love the fall! Boots being my favorite part. ;)
