Let’s Party!

I’ve been super excited to share this with you all, and the day is finally here. I’ve been working on a little collaboration with two of my favorite companies, Birchbox and Ann Taylor, and I can’t wait to show you the results! Don’t miss the announcement at the end of this post – you’ll be so very sad if you do.

First up, I got to head in to the Mall of America Ann Taylor location and be treated to some serious pampering. Hair and makeup (using the best of Birchbox products, of course!) were done. And then the shopping began. Look one is pictured in the photos below. Stay tuned for look two.

A big thank you goes out to Noemi from NoemiPhotography for the beautiful photos (check out her blog for more), and to Julie Swenson for my fabulous hair and makeup! And to the team at Ann Taylor – you made my day so special.

Keep reading for some more fun news! Seriously. It’s good stuff. Do not stop reading until the very end of this post.

Get the look:

pants  //  polka dot top  //  cardigan  //  shoes  //  tote bag  //  scarf //  earrings  //  necklace  //  chevron stretch bracelet  //  chain toggle bracelet  //  pave infinity bracelet  //  subway skinny bracelet

Get the makeup:

Benefit They’re Real Mascara (my new obsession – a must buy! My husband asked me if I was wearing fake eyelashes)  //  By Terry Light Perfecting Foundation Brush (this felt amazing going and provided awesome but natural looking coverage)  //  Dr. Jart+ Water Fuse Beauty Balm SPF 25+ (a moisturizer, treatment serum and sunscreen in one with a little BB Cream magic)  //  Benefit Fakeup (a moisturizer and under eye concealer in one, used here to enhance my cheekbones)  //  By Terry Baume de Rose SPF 15 (plumps and smoothes dry lips and smells fantastic!)  //  Avene Thermal Spring Water Spray (hydrating mist bottled from the springs of Avene, France and rich in minerals)  //  Mereadesso Lip Treats (tinted lip balms in packages of two, packed with vitamins C and E, plus other natural moisturizers)

Get the hair:

Ojan Damage Reverse Serum (rich in Ojan oil from Central American rainforests, it combats the stripping effect of heat, chemicals, and dyes)  //  Captain Blankenship Mermaid Sea Salt Spray (sea salt adds texture to your mane, while organic aloe vera promotes shine and adds moisture – you can get that beachy look without ever leaving your house!)

Here’s the fun announcement:

Ok, so here’s the super duper fun part for you: You are ALL invited to party with me, courtesy of Birchbox and Ann Taylor, a week from today, on Thurs Aug 15th from 6-8 pm at the Mall of America Ann Taylor location (60 East Broadway Suite 218 in Bloomington). There’s gonna be cocktails and treats to enjoy while you shop, a special gift with purchase scarf from Ann Taylor, and complimentary Birchboxes! So fun, right? Just click here to RSVP.
